Our scones, fruit, plain and sometimes cheese, are freshly created every morning on the premises. What could be more tempting than a soft, fluffy scone still warm from the oven? 

Our tray-bakes are legendary. Caramel Shortbread you can sink into. Sharply sweet Lemon Slice. Crisp, sophisticated Almond Slice. 

If you really want to indulge, we always have several freshly-baked cakes to choose from.

Rich Chocolate Cake, moist Carrot Cake, fruity St Clements Cake and luscious Coffee Cake.

All our baking is done in the Tea Room kitchen by our lovely staff and is available all day from 9am on weekdays and from 10am at weekends.

We serve Illy coffee, the choice of coffee aficionados. From a snappy espresso to a longlasting latte or uplifting cappuccino, our coffees really hit the spot. We also have Columbian cafetiere coffee for those who prefer a milder flavour.

Nothing beats a nice cup of tea. We offer pots of traditional breakfast tea, Earl Grey tea, green tea and a selection of herbal and fruit teas.

Breakfast.  Our bacon, sausage and black pudding (from Ramsays of Carluke) are second to none. Whether you need a quick bacon roll on the run or want to settle down to a full breakfast of smoked bacon, sausage, egg, black pudding and toast, you'll find what you want here. Breakfast is served until 12 noon.

Lunch. Toasted sandwiches, delicious home-made soups, hearty filled rolls, salads and snacks are prepared to order. More substantial dishes are also available on our Bistro menu. Or mix and match!
