Our bistro is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. The menu changes according to the season and the chef's inclination, but you will usually find our famous aromatic chicken curry, now available in a succulent vegetarian version, prime pork sausages and mustard mash, home made lasagne, and a selection of tempting starters and delicious puddings.

Our daily specials blackboard might offer:
 
Santa Fe Pork a sweet-and-sour taste sensation
 
Lamb Tagine a melting mixture of lamb, sweet peppers and lemon 

Chicken Coronation a tasty salad of chicken breast, mango and tangy mayonnaise
 
Carbonnade of Beef a rich, casserole of beef, onions, bacon and Broughton ale
 
All our dishes are created on the premises and are served all day and into the evening with last orders at around 8.30pm.

Starters include Goat's Cheese Crostini, home-made Smoked Salmon Pate, our own garlicky hummus and spicy Guacamole served with Naan bread.

Puddings range from freshly-baked Apple Pie to Strawberry Meringue and Sticky Toffee Pudding: they are all delicious!
On Saturday evenings we serve our special rib-eye steaks with chunky potato wedges and vegetables or salad.
