CLIPPER IPA REAL ALE We like it but in a small pub with fluctuating demand it can be difficult to keep and a remarkably efficient way of losing money. We can only keep one keg properly cool behind the bar which means that every week there will be a changeover period after the old keg is removed and while the new one settles. This normally means that we don't have real ale on Mondays/Tuesdays with the new keg being ready for Wednesday evening and in perfect condition for the weekend. THE BAR IS OPEN from 11am (12 noon on Sundays) until 11pm every day serving a wide selection of beers, wines, spirits as well as soft drinks.     We have excellent beers from Broughton Ales, including Clipper real ale and an exciting wine list from Bairds Wines in Glenholm.
In winter you can warm yourself beside the woodburning stove, while over the famously long dry summer months of the Scottish Borders you can enjoy the beer garden. |
